This is one of the most common questions. Generally speaking, once we have consulted with you initially about the services you are needing to have done, we prepare a bid contract for you to review and sign. Once the contract is signed and down payment is received, the necessary materials are procured (based on availability). Once materials are obtained, work may sometimes start immediately but is dependent upon weather conditions, scheduling limitations and/or workload.
Every property is different. Our construction, repair and maintenance services are individually tailored to your property requirements, specific ideas, and desires. When we receive a work order to quote, we always meet with you personally, make a physical visit to the property, and assess the processes, planning and potential services needed to complete the job to your satisfaction. This also allows you to be able to pick and choose your desired materials or tasks you want while also keeping costs within your budget.

This is a very common question. The simple answer to this question is no. We are NOT Certified Home Inspectors. We can however inspect any existing home or other building or property for maintenance or repair issues to help in your buying decisions. Box Canyon Construction can also perform any necessary repairs you may need in order to make the property meet inspection or mortagage requirements. Since there are no state licensing requirements in Montana to become a Home Inspector, buyers should beware of those claiming to be Home Inspectors without the proper credentials. Be sure to ask us about reputable local inspectors in our area. We will happily work with a Certified Home Inspector to plan and perform repairs or maintenance as needed to get the highest value for your investment dollar.
Changes and revisions can be made during the work process; however, all material changes made after purchase are sometimes un-reverseable and non-refundable. We will continuously work with you however, when making decisions. We know and understand that remodeling or maintaining certain aspects of construction and property repair can be a stressful time for you. We strive to make the process as stress free for you and for us as we possibly can. Thats why we make an initial consultation with you and discuss the options and services in detail to help avoid possible mistakes and misunderstandings.
